Longstay Travel Insurance is the ideal choice if you are a backpacker, taking a gap year, a break from work, or just simply want to travel the world. If you’re planning on a trip, from between 1 and 18 months, then you will need travel insurance which covers you from beginning to end. If you want to return home during your trip for any reason that does not give rise to a claim under this policy and you then wish to recommence your trip, you can do so at your own expense under the same policy before the end date shown on your policy schedule. If you return home early, this does not change the end date or duration of your policy. Cover ceases for your visit until you resume your trip overseas. You are not covered for any incidents or treatment while in your home country.
Longstay Travel Insurance is intended for people taking longer than average trips abroad, for 1 – 18 months. Multi Trip insurance is best for people who are planning to take multiple trips during a 12-month period, but each trip will be limited to 31, 45 or 60 days in total duration.
